N.S. in Boston

Description  

Although the distance between Nova Scotia and Boston is only a few hours, the two locations can often seem worlds away. To give Boston a taste of what its sister city has to offer, the Nova Scotia Tourism Agency kicked-off a Nova Scotia weekend in Boston on May 16, 2014.

A 28-foot replica of the Peggy’s Cove lighthouse was installed at historic Faneuil Hall Market Place for a three-day festival to celebrate all things Nova Scotian, and increase awareness of our beautiful province as the ideal vacation destination for Bostonians. The festival also featured Nova Scotian delights from the Kilted Chef, as well as the musical talents of Nova Scotian artists and a celebration of Nova Scotia at the iconic Fenway Park during a nationally-televised Major League Baseball game.

The campaign was awarded a silver ICE Award in 2014, in the Non-Traditional category.
